Radiology Manager at Mt Edgecumbe Medical Center, a 25 bed acute care hospital in beautiful Sitka, Alaska!

The Radiology Program Manager oversees the activities of the Radiology program, ensuring high-quality imaging services and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves supervising radiology staff, managing equipment, and collaborating with clinic administrators and medical directors to maintain and improve radiology services.
Key Responsibilities
- Radiology Program Oversight: Track radiology studies to ensure proper submission and reporting.
- Supervision: Supervise radiology employees daily, perform timely evaluations, and ensure staff competencies.
- Policy Management: Create and maintain radiology policies and procedures.
- Radiation Protection: Manage radiation protection monitoring for all employees exposed to radiation.
- Revenue Management: Work with Finance to maintain the radiology chargemaster and identify areas for improved revenue capture.
- Quality Control: Ensure all quality assurance/control activities are performed.
- Reporting: Prepare necessary reports.
- Staff Training: Ensure training and competency of staff performing radiologic exams.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any radiologic exam that the employee is qualified and competent to perform.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology.
- Certifications: Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) Basic Life Support.
- Experience: 5 years as a Rad Tech with 5 years in Radiology Management and supervision
