Job Title: Private Practice Psychotherapist
Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Human Services Field
Licensure: Must be a Licensed LPC/LCSW/LMFT in the State of Texas.
Our busy group psychiatric practice is seeking an experienced private practice therapist to work with the psychiatrists. The therapist will provide therapy to adults and/or children and adolescents. This is a contracted full-time role in an insurance-based practice. Our office will provide scheduling, billing services, administrative support, and office space. The therapist must be credentialed, or eligible to be credentialed, on major insurance panels. The office staff will help with the credentialing process. Please note, the credentialing process can take up to 4 months.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Texas. (No interns please)
Two years of clinical experience working with primary mental health diagnoses.
Effective written and verbal communication in English. (Bilingual is preferred, but not required)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and/or family therapy sessions
Complete psycho-social assessments, treatment plans and treatment plan updates, as well as discharge plans within established period

Mental and Physical Requirements: Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder. Occasionally lifting and carrying files that can weigh up to 20 pounds. May require working under stressful conditions.
