Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Office
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed for an Orthopedic Outpatient Office in Stuart, FL. This role involves working alongside Physical Therapists to administer hands-on therapy, assist patients with rehabilitation exercises, and contribute to their recovery and functional improvement.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Option for (4) 10-hour shifts: Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday
- No weekends
Compensation:
- $60,000 – $70,000 per year with benefits
Patient Volume:
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, guiding patients through prescribed exercises and manual therapy.
- Track and document patient progress, communicating updates with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of treatment areas and equipment.
- Assist with scheduling, patient intake, and other clinic operations as needed.
- Conduct assessments of balance, coordination, and functional movement.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Active Florida PTA license.
- At least two years of experience in an outpatient or similar setting.
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as WebPT.
- Hands-on experience with manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong communication skills for patient education and engagement.
