Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Setting
An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at an Orthopedic Outpatient Office in Stuart, FL. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver hands-on therapy, guide patients through rehabilitation exercises, and support their recovery.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Alternative schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday)
- No weekend shifts
Compensation:
- $60,000 – $70,000 per year

Patient Volume:
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring effective communication with the care team.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and necessary equipment.
- Assist with patient scheduling, intake, and other operational tasks.
- Evaluate balance, coordination, and movement patterns as part of therapy.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Active PTA license in Florida.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or similar environment.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT.
- Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques.
- Strong patient communication and engagement skills.
