Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed for a full-time position at an Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic in Palm City, FL. This role involves collaborating with Physical Therapists to provide patient care, facilitate rehabilitation exercises, and promote functional improvement.
Schedule Options:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Four 10-hour shifts (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday) available
- No weekend work required
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive pay: $60,000 – $70,000 annually

Patient Volume:
Primary Duties:
- Execute treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide progress reports.
- Set up treatment areas and ensure equipment is in working order.
- Support clinic operations, including scheduling and patient intake.
- Assess balance, coordination, and functional movement patterns.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Active PTA license in Florida.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or similar environment.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT.
- Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques.
- Strong patient communication and engagement skills.
