Position Purpose
Provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

JOB TYPESMEDICAL SPECIALTIESEXPERIENCE- No experience necessary, DOE
ESSENTIAL FUCTIONS
• Work closely with the food service team to prepare and serve meals to residents, their guests and
family members
• Perform kitchen duties as instructed in the preparation of meals
• Preparing for meal service (setting up salad bar, pouring waters, setting up line, etc.)
• Cleaning a dining room (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, busing tables, etc.)
• Complete pre-service trainings, monthly ongoing education and in-services on time and attend
scheduled facility/campus meetings
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and a positive emphasis, as well as a
calm environment throughout the facility
• Maintain a good working rapport with co-workers as well as employees throughout the company
• Greeting patient/resident visitors and staff courteously
• Respect dignity and confidentiality standards
• Promote resident rights as related to nutrition and choice
• Remain engaged in work activities throughout the duration of shift
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
