We are seekingan Occupational Therapist to join our team! You will provide direct patient care and support rehabilitation activities.
Must be a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Oregon
experience with pediatrics a plus but not required
Unique setting- explore the world of hippo therapy (therapy on horseback)
Looking for specialties such as feeding, administering ADOS, use of AAC/SGD, will train interested OTs
We will train you in the art of hippo therapy, providing the therapist with the opportunity to ride and spend time with horses as you get comfortable and more knowledgeable about hippo therapy. We have lots of equipment available for treatment plans including a full kitchen, garden program, rock wall, adaptive bikes and a large playground play structure.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and support for children with disabilities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary, focusing on discharge planning and transition to home or school environments.
- Provide education and resources to families to facilitate ongoing development and support at home.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans
- Proficient in discharge planning and patient care strategies
- Experience working with children, including those with autism and disabilities
- Familiarity with early intervention techniques and various care settings, including outpatient and school environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $83,200.00 - $93,600.00 per year
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week

Small therapist owned company with a friendly and supportive staff. Located on the edge of Gresham on 3 park like acres. We have therapy dogs, horses, outdoor space for gardening, bike riding and large out play structure for practicing play ground skills.
