SUMMARY: The Behavioral Health Therapist is part of the clinical care team and is responsible for completing the intake process including a biopsychosocial for clients referred for behavioral health and substance use services. The LCSW provides appropriate therapeutic or brief intervention services (individual, family, and group therapy) to clients based on identified needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in human services field
- Fully Licensed to practice in the State of Florida
- Experience in assessing and counseling individual with chronic conditions
- Must be qualified in Basic Life Support Techniques
- Personal and professional qualities to work with the staff of the health center in such a manner as to earn their confidence and respect.
PREFERRED:
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking
- Bilingual Haitian-Creole Speaking
- Experience treating substance use disorders
