Micah Solutions FZE is seeking a experienced OT Nurse specializing in Orthopedics to join our esteemed client, a leading specialized hospital in Abu Dhabi. As an OT Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries and treatments. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status during operative and post-operative phases.
- Administer medications and manage pain control for orthopedic patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding post-operative care and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the operating room and sterile instruments are prepared and maintained according to standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid DOH (Active) nursing license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a focus on Orthopedic nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopedic procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team and handle high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in operating room environments.
- Advanced certifications in orthopedic nursing.
