A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available in our Independence, MO orthopedic outpatient clinic. Join a skilled rehabilitation team and assist patients on their path to recovery.
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Or (4) 10-hour shifts: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday (No weekends)
Earnings & Benefits:
- Annual Pay: $60,000 – $70,000

Patient Volume:
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment programs designed by Physical Therapists.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility work.
- Track and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising therapist.
- Assist with functional rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Active Missouri PTA license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitative exercises.
- Strong ability to communicate therapeutic techniques to patients and families.
