Physical Therapist Assistant – Orthopedic Outpatient
We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our orthopedic outpatient team in Lee’s Summit, MO. This role involves working alongside licensed Physical Therapists to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.
Schedule Options:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- (4) 10-hour shifts: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday (No weekends)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually

Patient Volume:
Primary Duties:
- Carry out treatment plans under the guidance of Physical Therapists, ensuring patients receive targeted rehabilitation care.
- Assist patients with exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training.
- Document progress and relay findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Evaluate patient movement, balance, and coordination during therapy sessions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Active Missouri PTA license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitative exercises.
- Strong ability to communicate therapeutic techniques to patients and families.
