About the Role
As a General Dentist, you will diagnose and treat various dental issues, perform preventive and restorative procedures, and educate patients about maintaining good oral hygiene. You will work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges
- Carry out extractions, root canals, and other dental surgeries as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay informed on the latest dental practices and technologies through ongoing education
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Active dental license to practice in the relevant state
- Previous experience as a General Dentist preferred
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, treatments, and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple patient cases and work effectively in a team
