Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments for young patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric dental conditions, including cavities and gum diseases.
- Perform preventive services, restorations, and extractions as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to educate them on children's oral health.
- Implement age-appropriate preventive and therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure a child-friendly atmosphere to help alleviate dental anxiety.
- Keep detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
- Stay updated with the latest practices and advancements in pediatric dentistry.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Current state dental license.
- Experience working with children in a dental setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young patients.
- Knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
