Qualifications
- Must hold an active NJ state license to practice physical therapy
- Must hold a current BLS CPR certification
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts a physical therapy evaluation/examination and devises a physical therapy plan of care based on the subjective, objective, special testing and functional findings.
- Provides, coordinates, and the administration of physical modalities, therapeutic interventions, manual care, assistant device training, gait training and therapeutic functional activities utilized in physical therapy as indicated by the established plan of care.
- Accurately documents physical therapy care perform during initial evaluation, treatment notes, progress reports, discharge reports and any additional reports as required by other referring physicians and other agencies according to company policies and quality procedures.
- Provides quality-value care to every patient with compassion, empathy and collaboration.
- Coordinates plan of care and treatment plan among other physical therapists, physical therapist’s assistant, and accessory staff
- Charges effectively and appropriately for all services rendered.
- Part takes in clinical instruction.
