Immediate full-time opening for a NJ licensed X-ray tech in a busy orthopedic practice. Willing to travel to multiple locations. Salary based on experience. Great benefits.
The Radiologic Technician will operate computerized and manual radiological equipment for diagnostic purposes
Responsibilities
- Interpreting the order for the test to determine what body parts need imaging.
- Positioning patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures.
- Operates film processing equipment.
- Checking X-ray images and retaking them as needed to ensure clarity.
- Cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep X-ray equipment operating smoothly.
- Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports.
- Participates in quality control and quality assurance studies.
- Performs other duties as required.
