Position: Interventional Radiology Tech
Shift: Day shift (4x10)
Time: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 Hrs
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Range: $75/hr - $80/hr
Location: Paramus, NJ 07652
Responsibilities:
· Checking the imaging equipment to make sure it’s functioning properly and safe to use.
· Troubleshooting and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate staff.
· Keeping the imaging room and equipment sterile and clean.
· Following protocols to minimize radiation exposure, particularly in patients who may need repeated imaging (e.g., children, pregnant women).
· Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed, such as lead aprons, to shield parts of the body from unnecessary radiation.
· Taking proper precautions to ensure the patient’s well-being during the procedure.
Requirements:
· 1+ year of experience required as an Radiology Technologist.
· ARRT (R) Certification.
· NJ State Radiography License.
· COVID Card.
