Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments for patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions.
- Execute advanced interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and balloon valvuloplasty.
- Analyze and interpret diagnostic imaging and testing results, such as echocardiograms and angiograms.
- Collaborate with medical teams to draft personalized care plans and utilize multidisciplinary resources for optimal patient recovery.
- Engage in clinical research to enhance existing techniques and device improvements.
- Supervise and offer training for junior medical staff in the procedural and diagnostic departments including non-invasive tests and cardiac catheterization.
- Provide on-call emergency coverage and handle urgent catheterization labs during critical situations.
- Participate proactively in quality assurance and patient safety programs to elevate treatment protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Board certification in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- Minimum of 5 years of interventional cardiology experience, with a comprehensive skill set in complex procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with medical staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education in the field, keeping current with emerging technologies and treatments.
